The left has already destroyed the credibility of the institutions you seek to defend, so it is they that did the “dismantling” of the good, trusted part of them.
Whether Musk’s move fast and risk breaking things approach is optimal, it is FAR preferable to your implicit “change almost nothing, everything was fine as it was” claim.
