One to keep an eye on is this guy (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Sean.hoyland). He tries to play the "I'm only doing upkeeping" card but it's clearly part of an organised group adding bias to anything to do with Israel

Obviously I don’t know this for a fact, but I would be shocked if he wasn’t in the Techs for Palestine Discord group.

Very good appaling article. Thank you. I had already noticed the biases of wikipedia when the Middle East and Iran were concerned. Do you know wheter a counter attack has been organized by Isrealis or americans or french ?

No idea though it’s hopefully going to get resolved by Wikipedia’s internal auditing service. Ideally, it won’t just involve removing all those admins and will result in the articles getting locked.

Well I already spoke to a senior editor who’s also a collaborator here on American Dreaming and he says they’re working on it, but I don’t know where they’re at in the process or how pressing this is compared to other contentious subjects, like Russia, Syria, and the like. He made it clear there are a LOT of problems like this and while Israel/Palestine is certainly a loud subject, it might not be as big as others. But I’m just speculating there.

Thank you. Important to follow. But I suppose individuals could start a counter attack. Just as the islamists penetrated Wikipedia , apparently in a very organized way , their opponents could start a counter attack on the same grounds
